Mango lounge table

Lounge table known as "tree trunk", in solid mango wood with iron rods. Top carved from a thick section of mango wood resting on a circular cast iron base, supported by three "V" type legs made of round iron rods.

Circa 1954-55.

Dimensions:

• Height: 19.3 in / 49,5 cm.
• Length: 41.3 in / 105,5 cm.
• Width: 36.6 in / 93 cm.
• Thickness of the top: 4.3 in / 11,5 cm (+/-).

High degree of oxidation on the legs.

Provenance: Private home in Chandigarh.
