Folding single bed in solid teak and solid cedar. Headboard slightly tilted with openwork teak slats. Rectangular, criss-crossed base in cedar, with intertwined cotton straps. "Spindle" type profiled leg assembly in solid teak, bolted onto the frame. A connecting rail between the front legs.
Removable upholstered mattress and bolster covered in anthracite grey cotton cloth with red piping.

Reference: Swiss National Museum in Zurich. History: this easy-to-carry bed is inspired by the traditional Indian "Charpoi", which is taken outside to sleep in hot weather.
